Dr. Mona Shah is an Opthalmic Surgeon of South Mumbai with many accomplishments in the field of medicine and social service to her name.Born in Nagpur on the 14th of January 1971, Mona Shah shifted to Mumbai at the age of one. After her schooling at the Walsingham House School and Queen Mary’s School, Mona attended St. Xavier’s, Jai Hind, Grant Medical and the Topiwala National Medical Colleges which she passed with distinction, earning several medals along the way.
Rajendra Thacker - PPI candidate for North Mumbai
Mr. Rajendra Javerilal Thacker is a well known businessman and a selfless, hardworking social worker residing in North Mumbai.Rajendra was born in Jharia, Dhanbad District of Bihar on the 5th of December 1957, where he completed his schooling from the Khalsa High School, Dhanbad. Due to Jai Prakash Narayan’s movement in 1974, all schools and colleges were closed in Bihar. In order to continue his studies, he shifted to Mumbai and graduated in commerce from Burhani College in Mazgaon. He then went to Chennai where he completed a course in Accountancy and passed the Special Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Chennai and was awarded the A+ grade. Thereafter, after working for a few years in Mumbai and Tirupur town of Coimbatore, Rajendra started his business in Tirupur.
